Create Vendor from Contact

You can create a vendor from a contact in TRASER DMS 365. This function is similar to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central’s default function that allows you to create vendors from contacts via templates.

Unlocking Conversion Templates for Users

This section describes how you unlock conversion templates for certain users.
To unlock the conversion templates for a user, proceed as follows:

• Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the page Feature Management.
• The page Feature Management is displayed.
• Select Feature Update: Conversion templates for converting contacts into vendors and employees from the table.
• To unlock conversion tables for all users, change the setting in the Enabled for column to All Users.

• Click OK to confirm.

You have unlocked conversion templates for all users.

Create Vendor from Contact

This section describes how to create a new vendor via a contact card.
To create a new vendor from a contact card, do the following:

• Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the page Contacts.
• The page Contacts is displayed.
• Select the contact from the table that you want to convert into a vendor.
• The contact card is displayed.
• On the contact card, select Aktions > Functions > Create as > Vendor from the menu bar.
• The dialog window Select a template for a new vendor is displayed.
• Select the template that you want to use for this vendor.
• To create a vendor, click on OK.

You have created a vendor from a contact card.
