Bug Fixes

This release includes several bug fixes as well as the following new functions and improvements.

Core

New Functions

[17068] New toggle switch 'Hide Salesperson' in all standard reports in service, sales and rental

The toggle switch Hide Salesperson was added to all standard report in service, sales and rental to allow users to hide salesperson information from printouts.

[18427] Report for financing plan

There now exists a report for printing the financing plan.

[18428] Report for credit limit list

There now exists a report for printing the credit limit list.

[20862] Transfer of service item dimensions to financings

Service item dimensions are now transferred to the financing when a service item is linked to a financing card.

[20947] Removal of 'Field No.' field from automatic dimensions table

The field Field No. was removed from the automatic dimensions table so that users can set up specific dimension concepts.

[21535] New toggle switch 'Hide Shipment Date' in sales invoice

The toggle switch Hide Shipment Date was added to the request page to allow users to hide the shipment date from sales invoice printouts.

[21562] 'Update Price' function for multiple items at once

The Update Price function in documents now supports multi-selection of items, ensuring that the prices of all selected records are updated correctly.

[21626] Display of currency in reminder reports

The currency code is now displayed in reminder reports.

[21630] 'Bill-to Customer change' message disabled when processing sales order with Combine Shipments

When processing a sales order with combine shipments, a dialogue window came up asking to change the Bill-to Customer if a source sales order already had a changed Bill-to Customer. This message is no longer shown.

Improvements

[19927] Improvement regarding payment text for direct debit

Payment texts for direct debit will now only be printed if a payment method that is marked as Direct Debit is selected in the document.

[21740] Improvement of 'Combine Shipments' to allow different dimension sets in source sales shipments

It is now possible to use different sets of dimensions in sales shipments. For this, the Combine Sales Shipments With Different Dimension Set IDs boolean was added to the request page of the Combine Shipments report. If activated, sales shipments with differing dimension set IDs are combined in one invoice.

[21890] Caption Improvement in Purchase History

On the Purchase History page, the Open action was renamed to Show Document.

[22237] Activation of 'Internal Invoicing' checkbox when creating a new service order type from 'Sales & Receivables Setup'

The checkbox Internal Invoicing is now automatically activated when inserting a new service order type for sales calculations in Sales & Receivables Setup.

New Functions

[F18866] DMS Telematics Integration

Data structures and functionalities based on AEMP 2.0 (ISO 15143-3) were integrated in TRASER DMS 365, providing a generic framework for the integration of telematic data from various providers. This allows the collected data to be utilized effectively for both DMS and Rental purposes.

[20027] Update Service Item Operating Hours with Telematic History

The operating hours of a service item are now updated each time new telematics data is requested. For this, the Update Operating Hours was added to the service item worksheet and the service item card.

[20031] Show Service Item Location

The Show on Map action was added to the service item card. It allows to either show the current location of the service item or the address of the customer. You can also get the directions to your location.

[20728] Splitting of item lines for service items

Item lines with a quantity greater than one can now be split into individual lines for each quantity.

[20749] Update operating hours from telematic data

The operating hours recorded in the telematics history table are utilized to fill in the operating hours on the service item worksheet. Each time this is done, a current value is retrieved from the machine's telematics module. For this, the Update Service Hours action was added to the service item worksheet and the service item card.

[21241] Creating service item with model code only

It is now possible to create service items by just entering the model. If the model has already been used before, manufacturer, category and subcategory will be entered automatically.

[21928] New Field 'Purchase Date' on Service Item Card

The Purchase Date field was added to the Detail register on the service item card.

Improvements

[21487] Improvement regarding filtering of serial number types that are assigned to the service item category

The selection of unassigned serial number types is now enabled, allowing users to enter serial numbers that are not assigned to a service item category.

[21892] ToolTip Improvements

The tooltip of the Change Item No. action on the service item card was improved.

Service

New Functions

[17669] Selection of service order type in workshop line in forecasts

Users can now select a service order type in the workshop lines of sales forecasts, enabling them to choose whether the service order should use capitalized services.

[18845] Deletion of service line after tracked time is transferred to another service order

When a time from time tracking is fully corrected from one service order to another manually, the service line is deleted on the original service order. If only part of a service time is corrected to another service order, the correction will be visible on both service orders with the split times.

[19138] Resource fields in 'Warranty Setup'

The following fields were added to the Warranty Setup, allowing users to set up resource fields that will be used in documents regarding warranty claims.

  • Resource for Parts
  • Resource for Labour
  • Resource for Misc.

[19558] New dialog for opening a service order after creation from service interval

A new dialog is now displayed when creating a service order from a service interval of a maintenance contract, prompting users to decide whether they want to open the service order.

[21011] Service quote list for contacts

The action Service Quotes was added to the contact card.

[21739] Printing of 'Customer's Registration No.' in service credit memo

The toggle switch Print Customer's Registration No. was added to the request page, allowing users to print a customer's registration number in service credit memo printouts.

[21846] Removal of starting and finishing date when using posting check function for documents outside of service area

When using the posting check function that can be set up on the user setup card, the fields Starting Date and Finishing Date are only displayed in service-related documents. Documents from other areas will not display these fields.

Improvements

[21979] Service Comments FactBox editor gets initialized completely empty

The service comments factbox editor now gets initialized completely empty.

[22049] Cumulative labor resource line uses description of cumulative labor resource

The cumulative labor resource line now uses the description of the cumulative labor resource.

[22217] Labor Aggregation Method is not filled automatically on customer card

When the labor aggregation model is set in the service management setup and a new customer is created, the labor aggregation method is not set to the value from the setup.

Trade

New Functions

[20262] New action 'Equipment' in transfer orders

The action Equipment was added to the transfer order, allowing users to assign or remove equipment.

[20824] 'Service Item No.' in sales order and purchase order printouts

The service item number can now be printed on sales order and purchase order printouts.

[21371] 'Work Description' in trade-ins

The field Work Description is now always shown on the trade-in page, eliminating the need to add it through personalization.

[21447] Currency exchange rate on sales document printouts

With using the multi currency function the exchange rate is now printed on sales reports as an additional line.

Improvements

[21362] Improvement regarding selection of 'VAT Prod. Posting Group' for trade-ins

Users now have the option to select which VAT Prod. Posting Group rate should be applied to trade-ins created from agency businesses.

[21381] Improvement regarding text editor in equipment lines

Previously, when adding text to equipment lines in the text editor, the text would disappear upon closing and reopening the page, which was inconvenient for users who had to edit the text. Now, the text is displayed whenever the text editor is reopened.

[21882] Improvement regarding multi-currency calculation in forecasts

Workshops, costs, return types, and fix prices are now calculated correctly in forecasts based on the calculation currency.

[22015] Improvement regarding filtering of service order type in sales calculation

The filter on service order types in the sales calculation based on Prices incl. VAT has been adjusted to exclude those set to true, ensuring they are not shown.

[22102] Improvement regarding multi-currency and fix price

  • The calculated fix price is transferred to the sales quote from sales calculation if the calculation currency is set to local currency or to some other currency.
  • If fix prices are enabled and the sales currency is set on the sales calculation, the calculation sales price (fix price) and surcharge amount (fix price) change caption according to the sales currency code.
  • If more than one calculation forecast exists in the sales calculation, the calculation of the fix price is only possible if all calculation forecasts have the same calculation currency.
  • If the sales calculation is released, the Sales Currency and Sales Currency Exchange Rate fields become non-editable.
  • It is not possible to change the calculation currency if the calculation forecast is released.

New Functions

[21022] Certain storage bins cannot be assigned as 'Fixed' or 'Default'

This change makes sure that a bin code for a location cannot be set to default or fixed if it is one of the logistics bins defined in the location card (for example the receipt or shipment bin) since these bins will always be only a temporary physical location where the item is stored.

[21673] Creation of return inventory movement without default bin

Users now have the option of creating return inventory movements via the service worksheet even when the item doesn't have a default bin. If this is the case, the users has to manually enter a bin.

[21769] Printing of barcodes from transfer order and warehouse receipt

Barcode labels can now be printed via the transfer order and warehouse receipt.

[22039] Workshop bin logic in warehouse receipts originating from transfer orders

The workshop bin logic was implemented in warehouse receipts originating from transfer orders so that items that are transferred to the workshop via transfer order are correctly allocated by demand.

[22154] Order type in open orders from Req. Worksheet Page

The order type is now shown in open orders if the entry is of document type Purchase.

[22298] Item search field removed from pages

Due to implementing User Story 21747 (Vendor Item No. field used for quick entering of items), the item search as part of sales, service, purchase document lines became obsolete. The functionality of the item search remains but was moved to a dedicated line action.

Improvements

[21543] Improvement regarding filter in 'Bin Content' factbox

When entering a location or bin filter in the filter pane, those filters will now be applied to the data in the Bin Content factbox.

[21544] Improvement regarding filter in 'Item Availability' factbox

When entering a location sum filter in the filter pane, the filter will now be applied to the data in the Item Availability factbox.

[21747] Improvement regarding use of 'Vendor Item No.' in documents

The functionality of the Vendor Item No. field in purchase, sales, service, and logistics documents was improved to align with the standard Business Central behavior.

[21989] Improvement of Wizard page for defining excel template

  • There is now a Excel Import/Export Languages fact box on the catalog list and card that works similar to the existing Attributes factbox. This factbox displays the languages that are used when importing and exporting the catalog excel. This list is editable. The user can add up to five different languages.
  • If the user disables all price fields, no price update is performed when importing the catalog including translations.
  • In the exported Excel file, for each language, a column called %1 - Description Translation was added next to the description field.
  • When importing the Excel with added translations, the translations are added to a Translations factbox in the Buffered Catalog Import Entries.
  • The number of buffered translation entries is also displayed on the catalog card underneath the buffered catalog item entries.

[22146] Improvement of calculation of new shipment date from pending demand lines

The calculation of a new shipment date from pending demand lines was improved. The shipment date on the reservation page is now calculated in a way so that it matches the earliest date the purchase orders can supply the demand.

[22319] Catalog Excel Export Improvements

  • The booleans regarding the export were resorted/regrouped.
  • There is now a new action to activate/deactivate all booleans at once.
