Warehouse Receipts and Warehouse Put-Aways

You can use warehouse receipts in TRASER DMS 365 to confirm the receipt of items from purchase documents. Utilizing warehouse receipts offers the advantage of consolidating multiple purchase documents into a single warehouse receipt. Put-aways are utilized to move items to the inventory bin where it is meant to be stored.

Creating and Posting Warehouse Receipts

Note

You can specify whether warehouse receipts are required on the Location Card of a Location. Activate the toggle switch Require Receive in the Logistics FastTab on the Location Card.

To create a warehouse receipt, please proceed as follows:

  • Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the page Warehouse Receipts.
  • The page Warehouse Receipts is displayed.
  • Click New in the menu bar.
  • Alternatively, you have the option to generate warehouse receipts directly from the purchase order. To do this, click on Home > Create Whse. Receipt in the menu bar of the respective order.

The system will then search for matching document lines that you can add to the warehouse receipt.
  • Click OK to confirm your line selection.
  • Enter the location of the delivered items into the Location Code field.
  • You have the option to input additional details such as bin code, posting date, assigned user, assignment time, assignment date or sorting method if needed.

Tip
