Setting up Company-Specific Reports
This section describes how to set up company-specific reports.
Perform the following steps to set up the reports:

Basic Settings for Reports
This section describes the basic settings for reports recommended by Traser and how to save those settings.
- Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the page ForNAV Setup.
- The page ForNAV Setup is displayed.
- Navigate to the TRASER FastTab.
- Use the Address Separator field to enter a character that will be used to separate addresses. By default, the • character is used here.
- Navigate to the Tax Setup FastTab.
- In the VAR Report Type field, select Always from the drop-down menu.
You have successfully set up the basics.
Set up Report Header
This section describes how to set up the report header for a company-specific report.
We would recommend to use an image file with a resolution of 2000 x 400 pixels for the report header.
To set up the report header, proceed as follows:
- Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the page ForNAV Setup.
- The page ForNAV Setup is displayed.
- In the menu bar, click on Actions > TRASER > Header/Footer Picture.
- The page Header/Footer Picture is displayed.
- Click on View layout options on the right-hand side.
- Select List.
- To create a new header line, click on New in the menu bar.
- Select Header from the list.
- Open the factbox pane on the right-hand side (ALT+F2).
- Click on the area heading Picture.
- Select Import.
- Upload a picture for the header.
- In the Area field, you can select a specific area for the header picture.
- In the Responsibility Center field, you can select a specific responsibility center for the header picture.
You have successfully set up the report header. The picture you have uploaded will be used in company-specific reports.
Tip
You can also copy a header/footer picture from an existing header/footer line. Open the page Header/Footer Picture via the quick search (ALT+Q) TRASER DMS 365. Then, click on the line you would like to add a picture to and select Copy Pictures from from the menubar. In the new window you can select a header/footer picture from an existing line that will be copied to the new line.
Set up Translations for Report Header
For reports, you can set up headers in different languages for foreign customers.
Proceed as follows:

Before you continue, you have to set up a translated header in the form of an image file.
- Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the page ForNAV Setup.
- The page ForNAV Setup is displayed.
- In the menu bar, click on Actions > TRASER > Header/Footer Picture.
- Select the Header line.
- Click Translation in the menu bar.
- The page Header/Footer Translations is displayed.
- To add a new translation, click on New in the menu bar.
- In the Language Code column, specify the language code for the translated report header.
- In the notification area (ALT+F2), click on Import.
- Select and then upload the translated report header.
- In the Area field, you can select a specific area for the translated header picture.
- In the Responsibility Center Code field, you can select a specific responsibility center for the translated header picture.
You have added a translation for a report header in TRASER DMS 365. If you create a document for a foreign customer with a specific language code, the translated header for this language code will be used.
Tip
You can also add header/footer translations via the Header/Footer Picture page.. To add a header/footer translation, simply open the Header/Footer Picture page via the quick search (ALT+Q) TRASER DMS 365 and perform the steps mentioned above.
Set up Report Footer
This section describes how to set up the report footer for a company-specific report.
We would recommend to use an image file with a resolution of 1650 x 170 pixels for the report footer.
To set up the report footer, proceed as follows:
- Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the page ForNAV Setup.
- The page ForNAV Setup is displayed.
- Click Actions > TRASER > Header/Footer Picture in the menu bar.
- Select Header/Footer Picture.
- Click New in the menu bar.
- Select Footer from the list.
- Open the factbox pane on the right-hand side (ALT+F2).
- Click on the area heading Picture.
- Select Import.
- Upload a picture for the footer.
- In the Area field, you can select a specific area for the footer picture.
- In the Responsibility Center Code field, you can select a specific responsibility center for the footer picture.
You have successfully set up the report footer. The picture you have uploaded will be used in company-specific reports.
Tip
You can also copy a header/footer picture from an existing header/footer line. Open the page Header/Footer Picture via the quick search (ALT+Q) TRASER DMS 365. Set up Translations for Report Footer

- The page ForNAV Setup is displayed.
- Click Actions > TRASER > Header/Footer Picture in the menu bar.
- Select the Footer line.
- Click Translation in the menu.
- The page Header/Footer Translations is displayed.
- Click New in the menu.
- In the column Language Code, specify the language code for the translated report footer.
- In the notification area (ALT+F2), click on Import.
- Select and then upload the translated report footer.
- In the Area field, you can select a specific area for the translated footer picture.
- In the Responsibility Center Code field, you can select a specific responsibility center for the translated footer picture.
You have added a translation for a report footer in TRASER DMS 365. If you create a document for a foreign customer with a specific language code, the translated footer for this language code will be used.
Tip
You can also add header/footer translations via the Header/Footer Picture page. To add a header/footer translation, simply open the Header/Footer Picture page via the quick search (ALT+Q) TRASER DMS 365 and perform the steps mentioned above.
Replace Standard Reports with Company-Specific Reports
This section describes how to replace standard reports with company-specific reports, Before you continue, you have to carry out the Basic Settings for Reports and set up a header as well as a footer.
To replace all standard reports with company-specific reports, proceed as follows:
- Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the page ForNAV Setup.
- The page ForNAV Setup is displayed.
- Click Actions > TRASER > Replace Standard Reports in the menu bar.
- A dialog window opens where you will be asked if you want to replace the current reports with the Traser reports.
- To confirm the process click Yes.
Provided that you have set up a header/footer for the reports, all standard reports will be replaced by company-specific reports.
