Creating Sales Order

This section describes how to create a sales order for a service item with forecast. To be able to create a sales order, you first have to create a Sales Quote from a Sales Calculation. To create a sales order from a sales quote, please proceed as follows:

• Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the page Sales Quotes.
• The page Sales Quotes is displayed.
• Enter the number of the Sales Quote you have created beforehand into the search field.
• Open the sales quote by clicking on the sales quote number.
• Click on Home > Make Order in the menu bar.
• A dialog window is displayed.
• Click Yes to confirm the dialog window and to turn the sales quote into a sales order.
• You can now open the sales order.

You have successfully created a sales order for a machine created via a forecast. If the machine isn’t in stock, you may want to create a Purchase Order. You may also create a Shipment or Invoice.
