Order Modifiers
This chapter provides all important information regarding order modifiers that you will find on item cards in the Planning FastTab and on catalog item cards in the General FastTab. These fields can be imported via the Catalog Import and cannot be edited for catalog items. Order modifiers perform the following functions:

The Maximum Order Quantity field is only available on item cards.

| Minimum Order Quantity | The value in the Minimum Order Quantity field determines the item quantity based on the minimum order quantity or smallest package size for the item (depending on the information provided by the catalog publisher) for an item purchase proposal. |
| Maximum Order Quantity | The value in the Maximum Order Quantity field determines the item quantity based on the maximum order quantity or legally permissible delivery quantities (depending on the information provided by the catalog publisher) for an item purchase proposal. |
| Order Multiple | The value in the Order Multiple field determines how the order quantity is rounded up if, e.g., the item quantity doesn’t match the packaging quantity. |
Tip
For example, if you want to order a catalog item that is delivered in a package of 4 according to the manufacturer's catalog, the Minimum Order Quantity is 4.
If, due to logistical reasons, only whole packages can be ordered, the Order Multiple rounding factor must also be specified as 4 in this example.
