[8967] Issue with posting service orders due to wrong 'permission' definition

If the option Ship & Consume was selected when posting a service order, an error message occurred. This error message occured regardless of the user's permission setup. This problem has been fixed so that users who have been granted the permission to Ship & Invoice service documents can now finally post service orders without any problems.

[9857] Issue with user setup for posting service orders

Users who had only been granted the permission to Ship service documents on the User Setup page were still able to invoice service orders despite not having the permission to do so. This error has been fixed.

[10308] Issue related to the detection of existing document text translations

There was an issue with the detection of document text translations so that existing translations were not displayed. This problem has been fixed. If a translation exists, it is now correctly displayed in the document text mapping.

[10362] Internal invoicing automatically set to true when using customer template

When using a customer template to create a customer from a contact, Internal Invoicing was automatically set to true. This error has been corrected.

[10557/10688] Field transfer error when creating contact from customer {#core-10557/10688}

There was an error with the field Shipment Copy when trying to create a contact from a customer. This error has been fixed.

[10671] Error with transferring extended dimensions to documents/master data

When using an extended dimension to link dimensions, the extended dimension should automatically be transferred to documents or master data as a default dimension according to the dimension logic. However, this was not the case. This error has now been fixed so that extended dimensions are correctly transferred.

[3621] Printing of document texts on reports

You can now print the document texts (beginning texts, ending texts, payment terms texts) you set up on all reports according to their areas (purchase, service, sales).

[5944] Defining a default number of shipment copies per customer

On the customer card, you can now define a default number of shipment copies for sales and service shipments by filling out the field Shipment Copies.

[5947] Defining a default number of credit memo copies per customer

On the customer card, you can now define a default number of credit memo copies for sales and service credit memos by filling out the field Credit Memo Copies.

[5952] Setting up shipment number as a mandatory field when posting purchase documents

On the page Purchases & Payables Setup you can now define whether the shipment number should be mandatory when posting purchase documents.

[5955] Automatic clearance of 'Vendor Invoice No.' when posting purchase orders

After posting a purchase order with a partial delivery, the field Vendor Invoice No. will be cleared automatically so that a new number has to be entered for all postings that follow.

Improvements

[10592] Action 'Open Gen. Journal' on financing card has been updated

When trying to execute the action Open Gen. Journal on financing cards, an empty record was opened. This function has been updated so that all existing lines are now correctly displayed when the general journal is opened.

[6597] Wizard for setting up of financing module

The financing module allows you to set up, calculate, monitor and analyze financings. In addition, the financing module simplifies the posting of repayments and interest via the corresponding journal, giving you more control over these postings. With this ticket, the wizard for setting up the the financing module has been realized. You can now use this wizard to carry out all initial settings for the financing module. The following settings can be made via the wizard:

  • General setup, such as the setup of number series
  • Dimension setup
  • Reason code setup
  • Defining financing partners
  • Defining maturities
  • Defining processing statuses

[6599] Maturity setup for financings

Using the maturity setup, it is now possible to globally set up maturities for the financing module. Maturities can be used to determine financing periods.

[6601] Processing status setup for financing

Using the processing status setup, it is now possible to set up financing statuses.

[6602] Financing list and financing card

You now have access to a list that contains all financings that have been set up. Furthermore, you can now view all information regarding a financing on a financing card.

[6603] New fields for 'Account Type', 'Loan G/L Account' and 'Interest G/L Account' in financing list

The financing list now contains the fields Account Type, Loan G/L Account and Interest G/L Account.

[6605] New Function 'Fill Gen. Journal' for financing

The financing card now contains the field Fill Gen. Journal. This function creates all needed posting lines for a selected period of time.

[6819] New factbox 'Financing Information' on service item card

You now have access to a factbox that show all relevant information regarding a financing. The factbox can be accessed via a service item card.

[7415] Set up payment conditions for a business area according to a service order type

Via the Payment conditions on a customer card, you can now provide information on different order types. Thus, it is possible to set up different default payment conditions for a business area according to a service order type.

[7739] New field 'Payment Text for Direct Debit' in payment conditions

The page Payment Conditions now contains the field Payment Text for Direct Debit where you can enter a text that will be printed on all records.

[8663] New page 'Multi Sales Person Setup'

On the Multi Sales Person Setup page you can now define rules regarding the use of a dynamic salesperson assignment for documents by entering different dimension values. To be able to use this function, you must first set up different dimensions on the Sales & Receivables Setup page.

[8666] Add sales person codes via the action 'Multi Sales Person Assignment'

On the customer card, you can now define a sales person code per customer as well as per multi sales person via the action Multi Sales Person Assignment. This code will then be selected when a new document is created.

You can now access the action Multi Sales Person Assigment from the customer card as well as from the customer list.

In sales documents, a sales person will be selected automatically if one of the order types specified in the Multi Sales Person Assignment matches the order type of the sales document.

You can now access the action 'Multi Sales Person Assignment' via the contact list as well as the contact card.

[9263] 'Purchase Return Order' as printed report

Purchase return order are now available as printed reports.

[9675] Default dimensions for the financing module

You can now set up default dimensions in the automatic dimension values for the financing module.

[10282] New table 'Customer Price And Discount Setup' on customer card

The customer card now contains the table Customer Price and Discount Setup, which you can use to define special price and discount groups for the different business areas. The values entered into this table will then be transferred as default values to the documents of the respective business area. The table is an extension of the standard logic that only lets you define one special price or discount group per customer.

[10408] Entering of payment terms code mandatory when selecting payment term 'Direct Debit'

Entering a payment terms code is now mandatory when you use a payment term that is labeled as Direct Debit.

[10515] Changing of column 'VAT %' to 'VAT Identifier'](#core-10515)

The column VAT % has been changed to VAT Identifier in all printed documents.

[10592] Action 'Open Gen. Journal' on financing card has been updated

An empty record was opened when clicking on Open Gen. Journal. This function has been updated so that all existing lines are now correctly displayed when you execute this function.

[10650] Issue when releasing a purchase order containing items without item tracking

When releasing a purchase document, a service item was automatically created even for items without item tracking, although this routine should only be started for items with item tracking. This error has been fixed.

You can now set up different log types via the Email Log Types page that you will be able to assign to emails. The log types are also displayed on the Sent Emails page.

[10250] Bug fixes regarding fix prices

If the field Repair Status Code was left empty, you could calculate fix prices although this should not be possible. After the calculation, the field Difference was empty on the Service Item Worksheet.
These bugs have been fixed. Now you cannot calculate fix prices if the field Repair Status Code is empty. Furthermore the field Difference on the Service Item Worksheet is calculated properly.

Improvements

[10371] Fix price calculation now possible for service orders with more than one service item line

During posting of a service order that included more than one service item line, it was not possible to calculate fix prices for both lines. This functionality has been improved so that now the information for setting the fix price is performed more than once (for each service item line) during posting.

When selling an asset, the field Act. Sales Price (FA) showed a wrong value with an iccorect sign. This error has been fixed.

[10507] Issue with creating commission documents

When trying to create commission documents via the Commission Document List, the operation ran into some kind of deadlock. This error has been fixed.

[9769] Several improvements on item journal page regarding the handling of service items

Some improvements have been made on the item journal page regarding the handling of service items:

  • When you change the location code you don't have to re-enter the serial number.
  • You can now select 'Allocate to Calculation Entry Type' for items that are not service items.
  • You cannot fill in the field Calculation Entry Type and Allocate to Calculation Entry Type at the same time.

When creating an item from a catalog item that is both part of a manufacturer catalog and a subsidiary catalog, the item number wasn't updated correctly on all linked catalog items. This problem has been fixed.

You can now hide the message Shipment date before workdate via a setup on the Sales & Receivables Setup page.

[7847] View purchase, transfer and assembly documents in one list

The list Open Orders Req. Worksheet now shows purchase, transfer and assembly documents that were created from one requisition worksheet in one list. The list is filled in the background and can be accessed via the requisition worksheet at any time.

[8058] New fields regarding item details in factbox

New fields have been added to the item details factbox on sales, service and warehouse documents.

[8403] Catalog import with price factor

It is now possible to import price factors when using the catalog import.

[9509] New field 'Price Factor' in sales and purchase price lists

The field Price Factor is now shown in sales and purchase price lists to illustrate how the price is made up.

[9513] Transfer of price factor when creating items/when updating linked items

When creating an item from a catalog item or when updating a linked item, the price factor will now be transferred from the catalog item to the respective item/respective price lists.

[9516] New mapping functionality for price factors in catalog import

You can now use a new mapping functionality in the catalog import that allows you to map imported price factors to an integer value, e.g. 1/100 => 100.

The price factor will now be shown in sales documents in the document line if the price is based on a specific item number, e.g. 100.

You can now specifiy a Sales Item Discount Group in sales and service documents. The price calculation will then take into account this value to find the best price/discount for the specific line.

[9535] Defining purchase price depending on purchase order types

The Order Type column in the purchase price list lines has been extended so that you can now define purchase prices that are dependent on the selected purchase order type.

[9546] New page 'Order Type Mapping for Orders' to map sales and purchase order types

The new page Order Type Mapping for Orders allows you to map sales order types and purchase order types for specific vendors.

[9552] New field 'Surcharge Template' on catalog card

The catalog card now contains the field Surcharge template.

The field Service Order Type is now visable in the order tracking.

The page Service Order Types now contains the field Shipment Delay which affects the Requested Delivery Date in the document lines.

[10206] Using the field 'Shipment Delay' in document lines to calculate delivery date in sales orders

If you fill in the field Shipment Delay for a specific sales order type, it will be taken into account in the document lines so that the delivery date will be calculated using the work date + delivery delay/ delivery date will be changed when you change the order type.

[10207] Using the field 'Shipment Delay' in document lines to calculate delivery date in service orders

If you fill in the field Shipment Delay for a specific service order type, it will be taken into account in the document lines so that the delivery date will be calculated using the work date + delivery delay/ delivery date will be changed when you change the order type.
