Setting up Cues
In TRASER DMS 365, cues represent business data, such as sales activities or open orders. Cues provide a clear and quick summary of daily activities. On the role center page, you can set up individual cues that can be viewed in the My Activities FastTab. To set up a new cue, please proceed as follows:
- Use the quick search (ALT+Q) Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to find the page TRASER General Cues Setup.
- The page TRASER General Cues Setup is displayed.
- To create a new cue, click on New in the menu bar.
- Fill out the table with the desired information.
The following fields are available:
Option | Description |

Code | Enter a code for the cue. |
Description | Enter a name for the cue. |
Table ID | Enter the table ID that should be used for the cue. Click into the field to open a list with the different table IDs. |
Table Name | Enter the table name. |
Filter | Specify the filter that should be used for the cue. |
Page ID | Enter the page ID that should be used for the cue. Click into the field to open a list with the different page IDs. |
Page Name | Specifies the page name. |
Resp. Center Field ID | Enter the field ID for the Responsibility Center field. |
Resp. Center Field Name | Specifies the name for the responsibility center. |
Assigned Field ID | Enter the field ID that you would like to set a filter for. |
Assigned Field Name | Specifies the name of the assigned field. |
Assigned Filter Option | Specifies the filter that will be applied to the assigned field. If a person in charge is selected, the user ID will be used for the filter. If a salesperson/purchaser or a user from a specific area is selected, the field from the user setup will be used for the filter. |
Date Field ID | Enter the field ID for the date field that you would like to apply a filter to. The workdate will be used as a reference point for this setting. |
Date Condition | Specifies the date filter type. |
From Date Formula | Enter the date formula that should be used for most date conditions. |
To Date Formula | Specifies the second date formula that will be used if the date condition Range is selected. |
You have successfully set up an individual cue.
Adding a Cue to the Role Center
You can add a cue to the My Activities cue for your own user or for another user.
Please proceed as follows:
- Use the quick search (ALT+Q) Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to find the page TRASER General Cues Setup.
- The page TRASER General Cues Setup is displayed.
- In the menu bar, click on the button with the selection field > Open Cue Setup for User.
- Select For Me or For Another and confirm your choice by clicking OK.
- In case you selected For Another, please select the desired user in the User Lookup.
- The page Edit - My Cues Setup is displayed.
- In the menu bar, click on the button with the selection field > Copy from Setup.
- Select a cue and confirm your choice with OK.
- Close the page Edit - My Cues Setup.
- Your changes will be saved automatically.
You have successfully added a cue to the My Activities FastTab on the role center page.
