Bug Fixes

This release includes several bug fixes as well as the following new functions and improvements.

New Functions

[26330] Alternative Quotes

Users can now create variants for rent quotes which contain differences, e.g., in contract duration or pricing. Customers can then choose between the main rent quote and its alternatives. Alternative quotes can be created using the Create Alternative Quote action on the Rent Quote Card. Alternative quotes created in this way are linked to the main quote and can be accessed via the Rent Quote page or respective Rent Quote Card.
In order to create a rent contract from a rent quote that has alternative quotes, users must select the desired variant. The Quote No. of the main quote is then entered into the contract and all variants that have not been selected are deleted along with the main quote.
Alternative rent quotes are specified as such in printed reports. This makes it easier for customers to distinguish between the main quote and and alternative quotes.

[26334] Automatic All-In Prices per Rent Class

Multiple price lines of a rent class in a rent contract can now be combined into a single, all-in price line that is invoiced to the customer. The total amount is calculated by the system based on the selected line amounts for rent, service and/or additional revenues, and an all-in price line with the rent line description is created.

[29494] Alternative VAT ID Integration

If an alternative VAT ID has been set up for a customer, it can now be selected by changing the Ship-to address in rent quotes, rent contracts and additional contracts. After selecting the alternative VAT ID, the Gen Bus. Posting Group and VAT Bus. Posting Group are adjusted accordingly.

[29496] Registering Costs on Rent Contracts

Purchase invoices for costs related to a rent contract can now be assigned to rent contracts using the new Add Costs to Rent Contract action and Add Cost to Purch. Wizard. Costs registered in this way are included in the Calculation Review of the relevant rent contracts.

[29497] Invoicing Per Period if Rent Contact Status Is 'Final Settlement'

A new checkbox, Combine Open Periods in Final Settlement, has been added to the Invoice Calc. Methods page. It is selected by default for all existing invoice calculation methods. If this option is activated, the system will combine all open invoice plan lines across multiple rent periods into a single invoice once the status of the rent contract is set to Final Settlement. If it is not activated, the system will create invoice plan lines per period, even if the status of the rent contract is Final Settlement. This facilitates the management of invoicing periods, e.g., if there is a change of year between two rent periods.

[29805] New Functionalities For Configuration Packages

Configuration packages now offer greater flexibility and automation. Contract managers can define the price base (e.g., day, week, month) of a configuration package in the Configuration Wizard.
The configuration specification can now be printed on rent quotes and contracts. For this purpose, a new checkbox has been added to the Configuration Specification on the Rent Package Card that defines whether this specification should be added as a comment line in the rent quotes/contracts.
Additionally, a Unit of Measure Calculator is now available ed on all TRASER Rental 365 pages where a rent class (package), rent object, or configuration package can be entered. With this calculator, the user can, e.g., specify the m³ required by the customer to determine the required number of items. In order to use this functionality, a Rent Class Unit Of Measure must be set up and the Calculatory Unit of Measure checkbox must be selected for the unit of measure.

[29929] Self-insurer for Rent Objects

Customers can now be marked as self-insurers via the new Self-Insurer toggle switch on the customer card. When a new rent quote/contract is created for a self-insured customer, optional or recommended price lines for insurance are not automatically selected for added rent classes or rent class packages.

[31310] New Setup Option for Closing Rent Contracts With Open Service Item Damages

A new setting has been added to the TRASER Rent Setup: The Close Contract with Open Service Item Damages toggle switch enables users to specify whether rent contracts can be closed if open damages exist, or whether they should remain open until the damage is repaired.
Additionally, a new checkbox has been added to the Service Item Damages overview. Users can select this checkbox so that the corresponding contract is closed after the return, even if the damage has not been repaired yet.

[31202] Multiple Planned Deliveries

It is now possible to create multiple deliveries for the same rent line. This allows multiple deliveries to be planned at the same time.
For this purpose, new actions have been added to the Rent Delivery/Return Card: Users can separate existing deliveries if parts of the delivery are delivered before the expected date via the Migrate To New Delivery action. The Collect Lines For Migration action allows users to insert delivery lines from another existing delivery.
Additionally, if the delivery quantity is higher than the quantity in the rent contract, the system now displays a message with the item number, stating that an additional or new rent contract will be created. This confirmation message can be activated in the TRASER Rent Setup.

Improvements

[24593] Improvements for Using Consumption in Rent Documents

The Bill-to customer is shown in the Rent Contract Consumption Invoice Plan. This makes it easier to see which lines will be invoiced internally und which to the customer. Additionally, if consumption is used as the price type in a rent quote or contract, it will now printed on the report to clearly display the terms and conditions to the customer.

[26326] Improved Rent Price and Discount Accessability

New actions have been implemented on the customer card to open the Rent Prices and Rent Discounts, making it easier to see if a customer has specific prices/discounts and to enter new rent prices and discounts. Additionally, these actions are also available on the Customer Price Groups and Customer Discount Groups pages. This facilitates creating new rent prices and discounts for specific customer groups.

[28831] Printed Picklist

If a picklist for a rent delivery exists, users can now print it via the Print Picklist action on the Rent Delivery/Return Card.

[29754] Adjusted Columns in Sales/Scrap Wizard

The Sales and Scrap Wizard now displays the Vendor Item No., Item No., Service item No., Serial No. and (service) item Description columns.

[29756] Transfer of Rent Return Number and Date to Sales Order

If a sales orders is created via a rent contract, the rent return document number and return date are now transferred to the sales order lines as comment lines.

[29862] Improved Price Calculation for Configuration Packages

When entering a configuration package, the system now displays a price based on the rent prices from the rent classes. Additionally, insurance price lines can now be entered for configuration rent classes. If the price type Rent Percentage is used, the system will calculate the price automatically.

[29932] Print Rent Object Description Instead of Rent Class Description on Rent Quotes/Contracts

If a rent object has been added to the rental lines, the Object Description can now be printed on rent quotes and contracts instead of the rent class description. For this purpose, a new toggle switch Print Object Description has been added to the print settings.

[30004] Commission Wizard Displays All Bins

The Commission Wizard displays all bins that contain a specific item, allowing the user to select the quantities they want to pick from the available bins.

[30095] Changed Page Caption of (Multiple) Commission Wizard

The page captions of the Commission Wizard and Multiple Commission Wizard have been adjusted to improve clarity for users.

[30096] Rent Contract Number on Sales Orders Page

The Rent Contract No. is now displayed on the Sales Orders page. Users can open the rent contract linked to the sales order via the Open Rent Contract action.

[30097] Rearrangement of Date Fields on Rent Delivery/Return Card

The order of the Rent Start Date, Shipping Date, and Delivery Date fields has been rearranged to reflect the logical sequence of the delivery process.

[30589] Create Rent Invoices from Rent Contracts Page

Users can now create rent invoices directly from the Rent Contracts page via the Create Billing action.

[30709] Errors During Automatic Invoice Plan Calculation Included in Rent Contract

If errors occur in automatic invoice plan recalculations or batch updates, the error messages are now included into the rent contract messages to improve traceability.

[30962] Print Rent Start and End Date of Rent Object

Users can now print the start and end date for every rent object line in rent quotes and contracts via a new toggle switch in the print settings.

[31135] Rent Duration Price Check Available Externally

The rent duration price check function is now available externally to improve the extensibility of TRASER Rental 365.
