Bug Fixes

This release includes several bug fixes as well as the following new functions and improvements.

New Functions

[21423] Other correction message when changing the price code in the contract

The message on the report for a additional rental contract changes from Price Change into Price Change Based On Duration if the additional rental contract was created by the system because of a duration change.
This only works if the Default Automatic Add. Rental Contract On Price Change boolean on the TRASER Rental Setup page is activated.

[21898] Rental 365 Basic Mode

The rental area can now be activated in a Basic Mode. If the customer has a rental business without deposit, advanced prices (stair prices etc.), location bins and with a simple delivery and return, this modus can be used. The layouts only show the necessary fields so it is clearer.

[21899] Extending Setup Wizard for Rental 365 Basic Mode

The Set Up Rental 365 in Basic Mode boolean was added to the TRASER Rental Setup page. When activating this boolean, the wizard will set everything up for Rental 365 to be run in basic mode. A small business can be turned into normal business mode but not reverted from normal business mode to basic mode.

[25011] Activating a rent class without a price

A rent class can be activated without a price. In case a rent class will only be rented in a package, a price for this rent class is not necessary. By activating a rent class without a price, there will always be a message asking if it is right that there is no price.

[25033] Multiple commission/decommission wizard for different rent classes

If a rent class code was already entered for service items, the Multiple Commission function can be used to activate several service items at the same time regardless of the rent class.

[25305] 'Invoiced to' in Rental Contract Header

The Invoiced To field was added to the rental contract header. In this field you can see until which date the rental contract is invoiced. This Invoiced To date can also be used for filtering the rental contracts in the rental contract list.

Improvements

[18037] Extra transport information on quote/contract report

If there is a transport line with a transport specification in a rental quote or rental contract, the rent classes or objects contained in the specification are getting printed on the report.

[24591] Performance Improvement - Utilization Charts

Utilization charts are no longer shown on the service item/rent class/item card in order to having a better performance. You now have to open a separate page to see the utilization.

[24679] Rent Order Report Change

The layout of the printed rent order was improved.

  • The Contract No. is printed above the first line of a contained contract.
  • The Your Reference value from the contract header is printed behind the Contract No.. If a Combine Contract code is used, the Your Reference value from the contract Header is not printed.
  • If a Combine Contract code is used and contains a reference, this reference is printed in the document header.
  • The contract-based revenues are now printed under the related contract lines.

[24682] 'Returned' field in Deposit Ledger Entries can be used for filtering

The Returned field in the Deposit Ledger Entries can now be used for filtering.

[24903] Improvements in Inventory

  • It is now possible to remove lines from a customer/sales/transfer recording, if there is an error in finishing the line in a physical inventory order and that particular item should be moved to another order.
  • The item number is now shown in the rental-specific error message when finishing a recording. The error message is thrown when the difference in the order does not match the difference in the recordings.

[24925] Adaptation of the 'Create billing' function

  • The Invoice Date field in the Create Billing for Rent wizard was renamed to Calculate To.
  • The Document Date and Posting Date can be entered now in the Create Billing for Rent wizard. These date will be prefilled with the Calculate To date and can be edited. These dates will be transferred into the rent invoices/credit memos.

[25039] Return location is preset with delivery location

The return location can be preset with two different options:

  • preset it with the delivery location code
  • preset it with the standard rent location from the user.

This can be setup in on the TRASER Rental Setup page.

[25045] Separate dialog window for entering return date and location if next status is 'returned'

For usability purposes, a dialog window will now open when returning a rent object for entering the return location and the returning date.

[25311] Improved error message regarding drop shipment rental purchase contract

The error message when posting a direct delivery from a purchase rental contract with the linked rental contract not being signed was improved. Now the message tells exactly why it is not possible to post the rental purchase contract.

[25330] Open Contract From Posted Delivery Card / Return Card

The rental contract can now be opened from a posted delivery and return protocol.

[25440] Open Customer Addresses from Contract Card

The Ship to address can now be opened directly from a rental contract without opening the customer card.
