Bug Fixes

This release includes several bug fixes as well as the following new functions and improvements.

New Functions

[2523] Commission a rent object without having stock

It is now possible to commission a rent object without having stock so that the customer can already create a contract and than purchase the service item specifically for the contract to speed up the delivery process for specialised rent objects. This can be done from the rental contract via the Create Service Item action in the contract lines.

[12220] Allow or disallow temporary additional contracts

It can now be specified if a user can create temporary additional contracts. For this, the Allow Creation of Temporary Add. Contracts toggle switch was added to the TRASER Rental Setup page. If this toggle switch is disabled, the fields Add. Contract Duration (Days) and Estimated End Date Contract will be hidden and it is not possible to create a temporary additional contract.

[19064] Create service order for a protocol

It is now possible to create a service order for a specific protocol from another protocol. For this, the Create Service Order action was added to the protocol card.

[19181] Protocol status shown on rent end date information page

It is now possible to see whether a rent object has already been returned or is still at the customer. For this, the return status of the protocol is now shown on the Rent End Date Information page and in the corresponding factbox.

[19604] Create purchase orders from rental contract

It is now possible to create purchase orders from the rental contract. The Create Service Quote / Create Service Order actions are only available if the Service Item No. is filled and if the service item is not yet in stock.

[19605] Open rental contract from purchase order

It is now possible to open the rental contract from the purchase order if the purchase line is linked to a rental contract.

[20435] Displaying price changes

There is now the possibility to have more information on prices changes. For this, the fields Last Price Change and Price Changed By were added to the rent class (packages) card as well as a new Price Change Log factbox.

[20861] Contract based price codes

It is now possible to change a price code specifically for a contract (which will copy it to a new price code), create a new contract based price code, or reset the price code to what was set up in the original price code. The new Price Code No. Series setup page was added.

Improvements

[21686] Rent Class Wizard used creating contract from reservation page

When creating a rental document via the reservation page, the rent class wizard or rent object wizard opens with step 2.
