Create tasks

Proceed as follows to create a task:

  • Click on Tasks in the navigation bar.
  • The Tasks list opens.

  • To create a new task, click on New in the action bar.
  • The task card is opened.

Task card

  • Click in the Description field. The fields No. and Date are automatically filled in by the system.
  • Enter a description text.
  • In the End date field, specify the date on which the task should be completed.
  • In the Contact tab, click in the Contact no. field and select the contact to which this task relates from the drop-down list. The other fields in the Contact tab are then automatically filled in with the information stored for this contact.
  • In the Salesperson tab, select the salesperson to whom this task is to be assigned.
  • In the Machine tab, click in the Machine no. field and select the machine to which the task relates from the drop-down list.
  • In the action bar under Status, click Task in progress to assign the task to the salesperson.

You have created a task. If you have assigned the task to a salesperson, they can now see it on their dashboard.
