Sell machines

Proceed as follows to sell a machine:

• Click on Machines in the navigation bar.

• Select the All machines option from the menu.

• The All machines list is displayed.

• Select the machine you wish to sell.

• The machine card is opened.

• Click on Sell > Sell in the action bar.

• The machine sales wizard opens:

  

• Enter the following information in the wizard:

  Field	Description
  Erw. Sales price (net)	This field is filled in by the system and shows the expected net sales price.
  Sales price achieved (net)	Enter the net sales price achieved here.
  Final cost/purchase price	Enter the final cost/purchase price of the machine here.
  Date of sale	The current date is entered here by the system. It is possible to pre-date or post-date the sale.
  Vendor	Your abbreviation is entered here by the system. It is possible to enter a different Seller.
  Sale to contact	Select the machine buyer from the list of your Contacts here.
  Name	Enter the name of the machine purchaser here. If you have already selected the contact number of the machine buyer in the Sale to contact field, the system will automatically transfer this information from the contact card.
  Name 2	Enter additional information on the name of the machine purchaser here. If you have already selected the contact number of the machine buyer in the Sale to contact field, the system will automatically transfer this information from the contact card.
  Address	Enter the address of the machine purchaser in this field. If you have already selected the contact number of the machine buyer in the Sale to contact field, the system will automatically transfer this information from the contact card.
  Address 2	Enter additional information on the address of the machine purchaser in this field. If you have already selected the contact number of the machine buyer in the Sale to contact field, the system will automatically transfer this information from the contact card.
  Country	Enter the country in which the machine purchaser is based in this field. If you have already selected the contact number of the machine buyer in the Sale to contact field, the system will automatically transfer this information from the contact card.
  ZIP CODE	This is a mandatory field. Enter the postal code for the address where the machine purchaser is located in this field. If you have already selected the contact number of the machine buyer in the Sale to contact field, the system will automatically transfer this information from the contact card.
  Location	Enter the location of the machine purchaser in this field. If you have already selected the contact number of the machine buyer in the Sale to contact field, the system will automatically transfer this information from the contact card.
  Telephone	Enter the telephone number of the machine purchaser in this field. If you have already selected the contact number of the machine buyer in the Sale to contact field, the system will automatically transfer this information from the contact card.
  Distribution channel	From the drop-down list for this field, select the exchange through which the customer became aware of the machine. This information is important in order to be able to evaluate the profitability of the individual exchanges.
  Sales channel name	The name of the corresponding sales channel is inserted here by the system.

• To mark the machine as sold, click on the Exit button. If you want to cancel the process, click on the X at the top right-hand edge of the wizard window.

You have sold the machine. The status of the machine is changed to Sold (green) on the machine card and in the All machines list.
