This section describes how you can limit data in MaschinenParkOnline down to the smallest detail.
At the end of each subsection you will find a specific application example.
Filter ranges
Note
Range filters can only be used in free text fields. In this way, you can filter not for information for which you can select the value from a drop-down list, such as the status of a machine.
Proceed as follows to apply a range filter:
- Open the table in which you want to filter.
- To show the filter area, click on the filter icon on the right-hand side of the screen. Alternatively, you can also open the filter area using the key combination SHIFT+F3.
- Under Filter list by:, click on the + Filter... option.
- Select a filter criterion for which a range can be defined.
- Define the area according to the following format: Start..End.
You have applied a range filter.
The following example shows how you can filter by a date range in the machine list. It was filtered according to the years of construction 2005 to 2019.
Note
To reset the filter, press the key combination CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+F3.
Either/or filter
With either/or filters, you have the option of searching in any table using two specific criteria.
Proceed as follows:
- Open the tablein which you want to filter.
- To show the filter area , click on the filter icon on the right-hand side of the screen. Alternatively, you can also open the filter area using the key combination SHIFT+F3.
- Under Filter list by:, click on the + Filter... option.
- Select the filter criterion.
- Define the filter according to the following format: Criterion1|Criterion2.
You have applied an either/or filter.
The following example shows how to filter the Manufacturer column in the machine list according to the values New Holland and John Deere.

To reset the filter, press the key combination CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+F3.
Filter by values
Value filters allow you to search any table for data records that are greater than or equal to the filter value you have entered.
Proceed as follows:
- Open the table in which you want to filter for a data record that does not match a specific filter criterion.
- To show the filter area, click on the filter icon on the right-hand side of the screen. Alternatively, you can also open the filter area using the key combination SHIFT+F3.
- Under Filter list by:, click on the + Filter... option.
- Select one or more filter criteria.
- Enter one of the following filter expressions in the input field, replacing the X with a number:

You have applied a value filter.

You can also use the unequal filter function in conjunction with letters or words. For example, it is possible to exclude a specific manufacturer using this filter function.
The following example shows how you can filter for data records with the value Tractor for the field Category and a value higher than 200 for the field HP :
