Create salesperson

Proceed as follows to create a salesperson:

• Click on Seller in the navigation bar.
• Select the Seller option from the menu.
• The Seller page opens.

• Click on the New option in the action bar.
• A new seller/buyer card is opened.

• Enter a value for the Code field, e.g. a three-character combination of the first letter of the seller's first name and the first two letters of the seller's surname.

• Select a value from the drop-down list for the Salutation field.
• Enter the first name of the seller/buyer in the First name field.
• Enter the last name of the seller/buyer in the Surname field.
• The Seller name field is filled in by the system with the values from the First name and Last name fields.
• For the Function field, select the area in which the employee works. The following options are available to you:

• In the Phone no. field, enter the telephone number of the seller/buyer in the following format: Country code (0) Area code Telephone number (e.g. 0049(0)431 22139938).
• Enter the cell phone number of the seller/buyer in the mobile phone no. field. The format is analogous to the format of the phone no. field.
• Enter the fax number of the seller/buyer in the fax no. field. The format is analogous to the format of the **phone no.**field.
• Enter the e-mail address of the seller/buyer in the E-mail field.

The field Total machine sales is also filled in by the system and shows the total of the sales prices achieved (net) for the machines sold by this seller.

You have created a seller/buyer.
