Aptean Rental x ECM Connect 365
The Aptean Rental x ECM Connect 365 app extends the Aptean ECM Connect functionality with specific rental features and enables seamless integration between Aptean Rental and various document management systems. This documentation is divided into the following sections:
Rent Contracts – ECM Integration
The app fully integrates rent contracts and related documents into the ECM system:

- Rent credit memos (Rent Credit Memo/List)
- Posted deliveries (Posted Delivery Card/List)
- Posted returns (Posted Return Card/List)
Automatic Report Archiving
The app automatically archives rental documents at specific events.
Archiving on contract signing:
- Rent contracts are automatically archived when the signature status is set to Signed.
- Additional contracts are also archived upon signing.
Archiving on posting:
- Rent invoices are automatically archived on posting.
- Rent credit memos are automatically archived on posting.
To set up the archiving, proceed as follows:
- Configure and activate the following areas on the ECM Connect Automatic Archiving Setup page:
- Rent Contract
- Rent Add. Contract
- Rent Invoice
- Rent Credit Memo
- Set up the corresponding reports with archiving and default report options on the ECM Connect Report Export Setup page.
- Activate the report export on the ECM Connect Setup page.
