Setup
The basic setup of the Aptean ECM Connect x Shareflex Documents interface is carried out on the ECM Connect Setup page. In separate FastTabs, you set up the different functional areas of the app. Among other things, the FastTabs offer setup options for:
- the Filebox export
- the report export
- the document import
- the keeping duration
- the Shareflex interface
Aptean ECM Connect Fields

| Target System | You can select the DMS to be connected here. In this case, Shareflex should be selected, which is available after installation. |
| Use Documents for Entry Links | Specifies if the related document from the entry records is used for the link to the Shareflex DMS. |

| Filebox Active | If the Filebox is activated, the Filebox is activated in different places of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central for file storage. |
| Filebox Download Active | Specifies if files can be downloaded from the Filebox. |
| Advanced Mode | Specifies if metadata is added to the files that are stored in the Filebox in advanced mode. |
| Immediate Filebox-Export | Specifies if a Filebox export is performed immediately. |

| Report Export Active | If the report export is activated, report export entries are automatically created during printing. In the Automatic Archiving Setup, you can also set up for which reports report export entries are automatically created during posting. |
| Export Report with lines | If reports are exported with lines, report line export entries are automatically created. |
| Immediate Report-Export | Specifies if a report export is performed immediately. |

| Document Import Active | If the document import is activated, documents can be imported from the Shareflex DMS. |
| Check Amounts Upon Release | If the amounts of the documents are selected in the EU sales invoice, they are checked upon release. |
| Check Amounts Upon Transfer | If the amounts of the documents are selected in the EU commissioning, they are checked upon creation. |

| Keeping Duration | Specifies how long ECM Connect Report Export Entries are stored. |
| Allow for Posted Imports | Specifies if ECM Connect Document Import Entries are deleted for posted documents within the scope of the keeping duration. |

| Business Central ID Parameter | Specifies the entry ID parameter that is used for sending the export entry GUID to Shareflex. |
| Document ID Attribute Name | Specifies the name of the attribute that is identified with the document ID. |
| Document ID Property Name | Specifies the name of the property that is identified with the document ID. |
| Filebox Description | Specifies the Filebox description parameter that is used for sending the export entry description to Shareflex. |
| Dropoff Protocol Parameter | Specifies the dropoff protocol parameter that is used for deleting the error log in the Shareflex dropoff. |
Functions
This function creates a general setup for Aptean ECM Connect. In addition, the following setups can be created automatically:
- ECM Connect Company Setup
- ECM Connect Posting Mapping
- ECM Connect Validation Setup
- ECM Connect Report Export Setups
- ECM Connect Report Fields Setup
- ECM Connect Automatic Archiving Setup
- ECM Connect Filebox Categories
This function allows you to transfer the setup data of the company to other companies. You can select the desired setups and companies. To select a target company, it must exist in the ECM Company Setup.
CAUTION!
If data already exists in a selected company, it is overwritten after confirmation.
Under Related in the menu bar, there are two functions specifically for the Shareflex interface.
This function calls up the list of the Document Type Setup.
This function calls up the list of the Dimension Setup to assign a Shareflex parameter name.
