Frequently Asked Questions
This chapter addresses some frequently asked questions regarding the use of Aptean ECM Connect x Continia Expense Management.
Why aren't some documents archived automatically?
Check the following points:
- Archiving of Document Attachments is activated on the ECM Connect 365 Setup page.
- Filebox Active is activated – Archiving of Document Attachments has no effect without this option.
- The document contains at least one attachment in Continia Expense Management.
- The user who posted the transaction has been assigned the TSRECEM User permission set.
Can I archive attachments for documents that were posted before the extension was installed?
Yes. Use the Batch Document Archiving action on the ECM Connect 365 Setup page. It processes all posted documents that have not yet been marked as archived.
What happens if I delete a Filebox export entry?
When a Aptean ECM Connect Filebox export entry is deleted, the Archived indicator for the corresponding document is automatically reset to No. The document will be processed again the next time batch archiving is run.
Where are the archived documents stored?
Documents are stored in the document management system set up in Aptean ECM Connect (e.g., d.velop, ELO, SharePoint). The app assigns them to the Expense Management category. The exact folder structure within the document management system depends on your Aptean ECM Connect setup.
How can I check whether an expense has been archived?
Open the document in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. You can view the TSRECEM Archived field using the page inspection.
