Setup
The initial setup of the TRASER ECM Connect 365 x Shareflex Documents interface is done in the
ECM Connect 365 Setup. The setup page offers you to set up the different functions of the application in separate registers.
These registers offer setup options for
- the Filebox export,
- the report export,
- the document import,
- the storage duration,
- the Shareflex interface

Target System | You can select a DMS System to connect to here. In this case, Shareflex should be selected, which is ready after installation. |
Use Documents for Entry Links | Specifies if the related document from the entry data records is used for the link to the Shareflex DMS. |
Filebox Export | |
Filebox Active | If the Filebox is activated, the ECM Connect 365 Filebox is activated in different places of Business Central for file storage. |
Filebox Download Active | Specifies if files can be downloaded from the ECM Connect 365 Filebox. |
Advanced Mode | Specifies if metadata is added to the files stored in the Filebox via the advanced mode. |
Direct Filebox Export | Specifies if a Filebox export is performed immediately. |
Report Export | |
Report Export Active | If the report export is activated, the report export entries are automatically created during printing. In the ECM Connect 365 Automatic Archiving Setup, it can also be set up for which reports report export entries are automatically generated during posting. |
Export Report With Lines | If reports are exported with lines, the report line export entries are automatically created. |
Direct Report Export | Specifies if a report export is performed immediately. |
Document Import | |
Document Import Active | If the document import is activated, documents can be imported from the Shareflex DMS. |
Check Amounts Upon Release | If the amounts of the documents are selected in the EU sales invoice, they will be checked upon release. |
Check Amounts Upon Transfer | If the amounts of the documents are selected in the EU commissioning, they will be checked upon creation. |
Data Storage Duration | |
Storage Duration | Specifies how long the ECM Connect 365 Report Export Entries are stored. |
Enable For Posted Imports | Specifies if ECM Connect 365 Document Import Entries are deleted for posted documents within the scope of storage duration. |

Business Central ID Parameter | Specifies the entry ID parameter which is used for sending the export entry GUID to Shareflex. |
Document ID Attribute Name | Specifies the name of the attribute which is identified with the document ID. |
Document ID Feature Name | Specifies the name of the feature which is identified with the document ID. |
Filebox Description | Specifies the Filebox description parameter which is used for sending the export entry description to Shareflex. |
Dropoff Protocol Parameter | Specifies the dropoff protocol parameter which is used for deleting the error protocol in the Shareflex dropoff. |
Functions
This function creates a general setup for TRASER ECM Connect 365. In addition, other setups can automatically be created for:
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 client setup,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 posting mapping,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 validation setup,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 report export setup,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 report field setup,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 automatic archiving setup,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 Filebox categories
With this function you can transfer the clientโs setup data into other clients. A selection of the desired setups and clients can be made. For selecting a target client, it needs to exist in the ECM Client Setup.
CAUTION!
Already existing information in the selected client will be overwritten after confirmation.
Under Related, you will find two functions specifically for the Shareflex interface.
This function calls up the list of the Shareflex Document Types.
This function calls up the list of the Shareflex Dimension Setup to assign a Shareflex parameter name.
