Setup
The basic setup of the TRASER ECM Connect 365 app is done in the TRASER ECM Connect 365 setup.
The setup page offers the option of setting up the different functional areas of the app in separate tabs.
Among other things, the tabs offer setup options for
- General
- Filebox Export,
- Report Export,
- Document Import,
- Data Keeping Duration,
- TRASER ECM Connect 365 Default Link (only for Target System: Other).
Fields

Target System | A DMS system to be connected can be selected here. Only the Other target system is available in the TRASER ECM Connect 365 app. Additional systems can be selected after installing connector apps. |
Use Documents for Entry Links | Indicates whether the related document from entry records is used for linking to the target system. |
Filebox Export | |
Filebox Download Active | If the Filebox is activated, the Filebox is activated in various places in Business Central for file storage. |
Advanced Mode | Specifies whether metadata is added to the files dropped into the Filebox in advanced mode. |
Copy Filebox Files | Specifies whether files are copied to the documents resulting from the action when documents are created and posted. |
Immediate Filebox-Export | Indicates whether a Filebox-Export is performed immediately. The additionally installed connector app determines whether this field is active. |
Report Export | |
Report Export Active | If report export is activated, report export entries are automatically generated. In the TRASER ECM Connect 365 x Shareflex Documents-Schnittstelle wird in der Automatic Archiving Setup you can also set up for which reports report export entries are automatically generated when posting. |
Export Report with lines | If reports are exported with lines, report line export entries are automatically generated. |
Immediate Report-Export | Indicates whether a report export is carried out immediately. The additionally installed connector app determines whether this field is active. |
Document Import | |
Document Import Active | If the Document Import is activated, documents can be imported from the target system. |
Check amounts | Indicates whether, before posting, purchase documents from the ECM are checked to ensure that the amounts imported from the target system match the amounts in the document in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. |
Data Keeping Duration | |
Keeping Duration | Specifies how long TRASER ECM Connect 365 export entries are retained. |
Allow for Posted Imports | Indicates whether document import entries for posted documents are deleted as part of the keeping duration. |
TRASER ECM Connect 365 Default Link | |
Target System Base URL | Specifies the Base URL of the target system. |
Archive-ID | Specifies the Archive ID of the target system. |
Functions
This function creates a general setup for TRASER ECM Connect 365. In addition, other setups can created automatically for:
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 Company Setup,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 Posting Mapping,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 Validation Setup,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 Report Export Setups,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 Filebox Categories.
This function can be used to transfer the companies setup data to other companies. A selection of the desired setups and companies can be made. To select a target company, it must exist in the ECM Company Setup.
Note
If data is already available in a selected company, it will be overwritten after confirmation.
Setup Wizards
There is also the option of setting up TRASER ECM Connect 365 in the Assisted Setup using setup wizards. Setup wizards are available for:
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 Setup,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 Company Setup,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 Posting Mapping,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 Validation Setup,
- the TRASER ECM Connect 365 Report Export Setup,
