Filebox

Files can be stored and archived in different areas of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central via the TRASER ECM Connect 365-Filebox. To do so, the Filebox needs to be set up in the ECM Connect 365 Setup. Each file stored in the Filebox need to be sorted into a Filebox category. These can be set up in the ECM Connect 365 Filebox Categories and specify which category code should be used in the connected Shareflex DMS for the stored file.

Files can be moved into the Filebox via Drag & Drop or via Choose files to upload. All files stored in the selected data record can be viewed in the file list of Filebox and can be downloaded via the Shareflex Graph API.

Note

The Filebox download can be activated in the ECM Connect 365 Setup.

Additionally to files, attachments can also be uploaded to the Filebox. No Filebox entry will be created for links or notes however.
Files can be uploaded to the Filebox via the easy or the expanded mode.
