This chapter describes how to set up MaschinenParkOnline. This chapter covers the following topics:
Setup Wizard
The setup wizard guides you through the initial setup of your MaschinenParkOnline environment, step by step. Please proceed as follows to use the setup wizard:
- Click on Setup Wizard in the action bar.
- The setup wizard is displayed.
- On the first page, complete the basic information about your company.
Field | Description |

Company Name | Enter the name of your company. |
Company Name 2 | Enter the second name of your company. |
Address | Enter the address of your company. |
Address 2 | Enter the second address of your company. |
Post Code | Enter the postcode of your company's main location here. |
City | Enter the location of your company. |
Country | Enter the country in which your company is based. |
Telephone No. | Enter the telephone number where your company can be reached. |
Fax No. | Enter the fax number of your company. |
Enter the e-mail address of your company. | |
Homepage | Enter the homepage of your company. |
Title | Select the salutation code for your company's main contact from the drop-down menu. |
First Name | Enter the first name of the main contact. |
Surname | Enter the surname of the main contact. |
Company Picture | Add a company picture. Click on the plus symbol. A dialog window is displayed which you confirm via the Select... button. Select the image file with your logo and click on Open. |
- Click on Next.
- On the second page of the setup wizard, use the toggle switches to select the markets your company will use in MaschinenParkOnline. Activate the applicable toggle switches.
- Close the setup wizard.
You have successfully completed the setup wizard.
Setting up Header and Footer
You can set up headers and footers in MaschinenParkOnline. These are displayed and, if necessary, printed on documents that you create, e.g. on machine quotes or machine delivery notes. If required, different headers and footers can be set up for different document types and their language versions. Please proceed as follows to set up a header and footer:
- Click on Header and Footer Picture Setup in the action bar.
- The MPO Report Setup page is displayed.
- Select the line with the report for which you want to create headers and footers.
- Then, click Edit in the menu bar.
- Click on the + symbol in the column for the header or footer.
- The Select Picture dialog window is displayed.
- Click on Select....
- Find the image file for your header or footer, mark it and select it by clicking Open.
You have successfully added header and footer pictures. Repeat the process for the other documents.
Storing different Letterheads for a Report Type
You can store different letterheads for each report type. When creating the report, e.g. a quote, you can then select which letterhead should be used for the report. Please proceed as follows to set this up:
- Click on Header and Footer Picture Setup in the action bar.
- Click New in the menu bar.
- Fill in the following fields:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Title | Enter a name for the template. This name is displayed in the report when the document is created. |
Report | Once you press the ENTER key, this field will be filled in automatically by the system. |
Report ID | This field will be filled automatically. |
Language Code | Enter the language for the template. |
Report Name | This field will be filled automatically/will be left empty. |
Header | Add a file for the header. |
Footer | Add a file for the footer. |
Number Series | In the drop-down menu, select which letter sequence should be used for the report numbering. e.g. AN000001. |
Default | Activate this option if the template is to be used by default, provided no other template is selected when the report is created. |
Hide Header | Activate this option if you do not want the header to be printed. |
You have successfully created a new letterhead for a report type.
