Salesperson

In this chapter, you’ll find all important information about managing your salespeople in MaschinenParkOnline. It is divided into the following sections:

• Creating a Salesperson

Creating a Salesperson

You can create new salespeople in the system. To do so, please proceed as follows:

• Click on Salesperson  > Salesperson in the navigation bar.
• Click on New in the action bar of the Salesperson page.
• Fill in the newly created Salesperson Card according to the following table:

• Navigate to the InfoBox area on the right side of the screen. If it is not displayed, press ALT+F2.
• Click on the Image option.
• Click on the Select... option in the following dialog window and select a suitable image of the salesperson.
• Confirm your selection.

You have successfully added a salesperson.

Assigning a Salesperson to Machine Valuations

In MaschinenParkOnline, you can set up that selected salespeople are automatically notified by email when a salesperson carried out a machine valuation. To do so, please proceed as follows:

• Click on Salesperson  > Salesperson in the navigation bar.
• Click on the salesperson whose information you want to edit in the Code column.
• Navigate to the Valuation Email Setup FastTab on the Salesperson Card.
• Click on Associated Salespeople for Machine Valuation.
• Select the Add Salesperson option.
• The Salesperson Selection window opens.
• In the Salesperson Name column, click on the salesperson you want to assign to a salesperson-specific machine valuation.

• Confirm your selection with OK.

You have successfully added one or multiple salespeople to salesperson-specific machine valuations.

Deleting a Salesperson from Machine Valuations

You can deactivate notifications regarding carried-out machine valuations for a salesperson. To do so, please proceed as follows:

• Click on Salesperson  > Salesperson in the navigation bar.
• Click on the salesperson whose information you want to edit in the Code column.
• Navigate to the Associated Salespeople for Machine Valuation FastTab on the Salesperson Card.
• Click on the name of the salesperson for which you want to deactivate notifications regarding machine valuations.
• Click on Associated Salespeople for Machine Valuation.

You have successfully deleted the selected salesperson from the list. This salesperson will no longer be notified when a machine valuation is carried out.

Assigning a Salesperson to a Marketplace

In MaschinenParkOnline, you can assign a salesperson as a default contact to a marketplace. You can specify more than one default contact for a marketplace. To do so, repeat the following steps in this section for all relevant salespeople. Please proceed as follows to assign a salesperson as a default contact to a marketplace:

• Click on Salesperson  > Salesperson in the navigation bar.
• Click on the salesperson whose information you want to edit in the Code column.
• Navigate to the Marketplace-Specific Data FastTab on the Salesperson Card.
• Activate the toggle switches of the marketplaces, to which the salesperson shall be assigned as default contact.

You have successfully set up a salesperson as a default contact. To remove the salesperson as default contact, deactivate the toggle switch of the relevant marketplaces.

Assigning a Salesperson to a Location

In MaschinenParkOnline, you can assign a salesperson to a location. One or multiple salespeople may be assigned to a location. To do so, repeat the following steps in this section for all relevant salespeople. The location specified for a machine is then used to determine which default contacts are displayed in the marketplaces. In advertisements, the salespeople assigned to the location are listed in addition to the default contacts. Please proceed as follows to assign a salesperson to a location:

• Click on Salesperson  > Salesperson in the navigation bar.
• Click on the salesperson whose information you want to edit in the Code column.
• Navigate to the Marketplace-Specific Data FastTab on the Salesperson Card.
• Click on Salesperson Locations > Add Location.
• Select the desired location.

You have successfully assigned a salesperson to a location. To remove a location, select the Salesperson Locations > Remove Location option.

Deactivating/Reactivating a Salesperson

You can deactivate and reactivate a salesperson. Deactivating a salesperson automatically removes them from all mailing lists for machine valuations. Please proceed as follows to deactivate/reactivate a salesperson:

• Click on Salesperson  > Salesperson in the navigation bar.
• Open the Salesperson Card you want to deactivate or reactivate.
• Click on Salesperson  > Activate/Deactivate in the action bar.

You have successfully deactivated or reactivated a salesperson. The Inactive toggle switch shows the current status of the salesperson.

Deleting a Salesperson

If you want to not only deactivate a salesperson, but delete them from the system, please proceed as follows;

• Click on Salesperson  > Salesperson in the navigation bar.
• Select the salespercon you want to delete.
• Click on Delete in the action bar.
• Confirm the dialog window with Yes.

You have successfully deleted a salesperson.
