To-Dos

This chapter describes creating and managing to-dos. To-dos help you to keep track of sales-specific processes, e.g. following up on offers, customer visits, and other CRM-specific activities. This chapter is divided into the following sections:
Creating To-Dos
You can create and organize to-dos in MaschinenParkOnline. Please proceed as follows to create a new to-do:
- Click on To-Dos in the navigation bar.
- Click on New in the action bar to create a new to-do.
- Fill in the To-Do Card according to the following table:
Field | Description |
---|---|
No. | This field is filled automatically by the system. |
Date | This field is filled automatically by the system. |
Description | Enter a description. |
End Date | Enter the date on which the to-do is supposed to be finished. |
Contact No. | Select the contact this to-do is related to from the dropdown list. The remaining fields in the Contact FastTab will be filled automatically with the information stored for this contact. |
Salesperson Code | Select the salesperson this to-do is related to from the dropdown list. The Salesperson Name field will be filled automatically with the information stored for this salesperson. |
Machine No. | Select the machine this to-do is related to from the dropdown list. The remaining fields in the Machine FastTab will be filled automatically with the information stored for this machine. |
- Click on Status > To-Do In Progress in the action bar to assign the to-do to the salesperson.
You have successfully created a to-do and assigned it to a salesperson. They can now view the to-do on their dashboard.
Pausing To-Dos
You can pause a To-Do in progress, if needed. To do so, please proceed as follows:
- Click on To-Dos > To-Dos in the navigation bar.
- Select the to-do you want to pause.
- Click on Status > Pause To-Do in the action bar of the To-Do Card.
You have successfully paused a to-do. The status of the to-do is set to Pause.
Postponing To-Dos
You can postpone a to-do, if needed. To do so, please proceed as follows:
- Click on To-Dos > To-Dos in the navigation bar.
- Select the to-do you want to postpone.
- Change the date in the End Date field.
- Click on Status > Postpone To-Do in the action bar of the To-Do Card.
You have successfully postponed a to-do. The status of the to-do is set to Postponed.
Completing To-Dos
You can mark a finished to-do as complete. To do so, please proceed as follows:
- Click on To-Dos > To-Dos in the navigation bar.
- Select the to-do you want to finish.
- Click on Status > Complete To-Do in the action bar of the To-Do Card.
You have successfully completed a to-do. The status of the to-do is set to Complete.
