Filters
This chapter describes how you can filter tables in MaschinenParkOnline to quickly and easily access relevant data. It is divided into the following sections:
Quick Filters
You can use quick filters in MaschinenParkOnline to filter tables by predefined criteria. This process works analogously for all tables. To use a quick filter, please proceed as follows:
- Open the table in which you want to filter data, e.g. All Machines.
- Click on the information by which you want to filter, e.g. the Online status in the Status column.
- Press ALT+F3 on your keyboard to add a quick filter.
- The table is filtered by all data records that match the selected quick filter criterion, e.g. the Online status.
- Repeat this process to narrow down the results by further criteria (e.g. Tractor in theCategory column).
You have successfully applied a quick filter. To reset the filter, click on the Reset Filter option on the left side of the screen, or press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+F3.
Advanced Filter Options
You can use advanced filters in MaschinenParkOnline to further narrow down data. The following sections describe how you can filter by range, either/or, or specific values.
Range Filters
You can filter text fields by specified ranges, e.g. the manufacturing date of a machine. This filter option is not available for fields where you select values from a dropdown list, e.g. the Status of a machine. To use a range filter, please proceed as follows:
- Open the table in which you want to filter.
- Display the Filter Area by pressing SHIFT+F3.
- Click on the + Filter… option under Filter List By:.
- Select a Filter Criterion for which a range can be specified, e.g. Manufacturing Date.
- Enter the desired value range.
You have successfully applied a range filter. To reset the filter, click on the Reset Filter option on the left side of the screen, or press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+F3.
Either/Or Filters
You can use either/or filters to filter a table by two specified criteria. To do so, please proceed as follows:
- Open the table in which you want to filter.
- Display the Filter Area by pressing SHIFT+F3.
- Click on the + Filter… option under Filter List By:.
- Select a Filter Criterion, e.g. Manufacturer.
- Specify the filter according to the following format: Criterion1|Criterion2.
You have successfully applied an either/or filter. To reset the filter, click on the Reset Filter option on the left side of the screen, or press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+F3.
Value Filters
You can use value filters to filter for data records which contain number values and match the specified filter conditions. To do so, please proceed as follows:
- Open the table in which you want to filter.
- Display the Filter Area by pressing SHIFT+F3.
- Click on the + Filter… option under Filter List By:.
- Select one or more Filter Criteria as needed.
- Enter one of the following filter conditions into the input field and replace X with a number:

Tip
The unequal filter condition can also be used in combination with letters or words, e.g. to exclude a specific manufacturer with this filter option.
You have successfully applied a value filter. If you e.g. Filtered by HP and >200, only data records are displayed where the HP field contains a value greater than 200. To reset the filter, click on the Reset Filter option on the left side of the screen, or press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+F3.
Saving Filters
You can save filtered list views in MaschinenParkOnline and access them directly. This process works analogously for all tables. To save a customized filter, please proceed as follows:
- Open the table in which you want to filter.
- Display the Filter Area by pressing SHIFT+F3.
- Apply the desired filters.
- Click on the save icon in the filter area.
- Enter a significant name for your customized filter.
- Confirm your entry with ENTER.
You have successfully saved a filtered table view. You can view and access saved filters either via the Custom Filters dropdown menu or in the filter area via Views.
Deleting Saved Filters
You can delete saved filters that are no longer needed or incorrect. This process works analogously for all tables. To delete a customized filter, please proceed as follows:
- Open the table in which you want to delete a filter.
- Display the Filter Area by pressing SHIFT+F3.
- Click on the three dots next to the filter you want to delete and select Delete.
- Confirm the dialog window with Yes.
