CLAAS-side values (work type codes, units of measure, branches, etc.) are defined and maintained by CLAAS and may change over time. Request the current values directly from CLAAS before filling in the mapping tables, and review them periodically.
Tip
Deactivating the interface does not cause any data loss. Service orders that still need to be synchronized remain queued and are processed once the interface is activated again.

Job Queue Setup
Important
Unlike other interfaces, job queue entries for CLAAS Link Interface are not created automatically when the interface is activated. They must be set up manually as described below.
Set up the following two job queue entries via the Job Queue Entries page (quick search, ALT+Q):
- Job queue setup for sending service orders
- Job queue setup for processing incoming and outgoing log entries
Tip
Both job queue entries process only small amounts of data per run and can safely run as often as once per minute. To conserve system resources, consider restricting them to your regular working hours instead of running around the clock.
Job queue setup for sending service orders
The TSRCI Send Dms Log job queue sends outgoing service order messages from our ERP solution to CLAAS DSM.
Please follow below instructions to create the job queue with recommended settings:
- Open the Job Queue Entries page in our ERP solution using the search (ALT+Q).
- Click on the New button to create a new job queue entry.
- In the General FastTab of the Job Queue Entry Card, do the following:
- In the Object Type to Run field, select the
Codeunitvalue. - In the Object ID to Run field, select the
5575513value. - Optional In the Description field, enter a unique job queue description, if needed, e.g.,
CLAAS DSM - Send Service Orders. - Optional In the Earliest Start Date/Time field, enter the date and time the job queue should run the next time. If no value is selected, the job queue will run as soon as Status = Ready.
- In the Object Type to Run field, select the
- In the Recurrence FastTab of the Job Queue Entry Card, do the following:
- Activate the toggle switches for all weekdays with regular office hours.
- In the Starting Time field, select a time shortly before the usual business hours, so that the service order transfer is already up and running when starting.
Recommended value:06:00:00(06:00:00 AM) - In the Ending Time field, select a time after the usual business hours, so that no traffic is generated if it is not needed.
Recommended value:18:00:00(06:00:00 PM) - In the No. of Minutes between Runs field, enter a value which suits your processes best. We recommend a value of
1.
The job queue entry is finished and has Status = On Hold.
Job queue setup for processing incoming and outgoing log entries
The TSRCI Main Process Routine job queue processes incoming and outgoing log entries by writing incoming data to the buffer tables and merging it into the service order worksheet.
Please follow below instructions to create the job queue with recommended settings:
- Open the Job Queue Entries page in our ERP solution using the search (ALT+Q).
- Click on the New button to create a new job queue entry.
- In the General FastTab of the Job Queue Entry Card, do the following:

The job queue entry is finished and has Status = On Hold.
Web Service Setup
To receive messages from CLAAS DSM, e.g., changes made by a technician, the codeunit TSRCI CLAAS Webserv Receiver must be published as a web service. This is a one-time technical setup step.
- Open the Web Services page via the quick search (ALT+Q).
- Create a new line:
- In the Object Type field, select Codeunit.
- In the Object ID field, enter
5575502. - Select the Published checkbox.
- Copy the generated SOAP URL or OData V4 URL shown in the URL column.
- Share this URL with CLAAS, or with the internal team responsible for the CLAAS integration, so CLAAS DSM knows where to send incoming messages.
orderbase Time Management
It is possible to use orderbase Time Management, if you want technicians' time entries to be processed via orderbase Time Management. Please set up orderbase Time Management as described here (in German only).
Note
The interface also works without orderbase Time Management. However, standalone attendance and absence time entries sent from CLAAS DSM (message types If03 Attendance and If03 Absence, see How Synchronization Works) can only be processed while orderbase Time Management is active.
Activation
Once the authorization and all mapping setup objects are complete, activate the interface as described in Activate interfaces.
You can now process service orders with CLAAS DSM.
