Service Charges

This chapter describes how to set up and use service charges. Service charges can be used to automatically add additional costs for labor or spare parts as a resource line to a selected order type. Once a service order of the selected order type receives the status Completed, the set up service charges are automatically added as a resource line, but can also be added manually. Setting Up Service Charges

To set up service charges, proceed as follows:

  • Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the Service Charce Setup page.
  • Click New in the menu bar.

Deactivating Service Charges for Customers

You can set up in our ERP solution that service charges should not be applied to specific customers. To deactivate service charges for a specific customer, proceed as follows:

  • Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the Customers page.
  • Open the customer for which you want to deactivate service charges.
  • Navigate to the Shipping FastTab.
  • Activate the Skip Service Charges toggle switch.

You have successfully deactivated service charges for a specific customer. When you now create a service order for this customer, the Skip Service Charges toggle switch in the General FastTab is automatically activated and it is not possible to add service charges.

Adding Service Charges to Worksheets

To manually add specified service charges to a worksheet, proceed as follows:

If the Skip Service Charges toggle switch in the General FastTab of the corresponding service order is activated, no service charges can be added. In this case, deactivate the toggle switch to allow adding service charges to this document.

  • Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the Worksheets page.
  • Open the desired worksheet.
  • Click Actions > Add Service Charge in the menu bar. If you cannot find Actions, click on More Options in the menu bar.
  • All applicable service charges are added to the Lines FastTab of the worksheet.
