Item Price Information

This chapter describes how to use the Price Information page to view current prices, possible upselling prices, and related price and discount lists for one or more items, and how to use the filtered price information lines to create new documents or add lines to existing ones. This chapter is divided into the following sections:

Accessing Price Information for Items

Proceed as follows to open detailed price information for one or multiple items:

  • Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the Price Information page.
  • Fill in the fields in the Filter FastTab according to the following table:
Field Description
Items Select the item from the dropdown list for which you want to view detailed price information.
Vendor Item No. This field is automatically filled with the vendor item number of the selected item. Alternatively, you can enter the vendor item number directly. The corresponding item information will then be completed automatically.
Variant Code Select a variant code from the dropdown list if you want to view price information for a specific item variant only.
Order Quantity Enter the required item quantity on which the price calculation should be based.
Customer Select the customer from the dropdown list on whom the price calculation should be based. If you regularly check prices for the same customer, use the quick search (ALT+Q) to open the Sales & Receivables Setup page and fill in the Default Customer No. (Price Lookup) field. The price information page is then always filtered to this customer.
Customer Name This field is automatically filled in with the name of the selected customer. Alternatively, you can enter the name of the customer directly. The corresponding customer number will then be completed automatically.
Order Date Select the order date on which the price calculation should be based.
Order Type Select an order type from the dropdown list on which the price calculation should be based. If you regularly check prices for the same order type, use the quick search (ALT+Q) to open the User Setup page, open the desired user card and fill in the Order Type (Price Information) field. The price information page is then always filtered to this order type.
  • In the Possible Prices (Upselling) FastTab, you can view additional prices that are available for the item. This includes, e.g., better conditions from default price lists, customer price groups, purchase item discount groups, or campaigns. In the New Quantity and New Sales Order Type columns, you can see the requirements that must be fulfilled for the respective price to be applied.
  • In the Current Prices FastTab, you can view the current price and discount for the item based on the filters applied.
  • Repeat the process as needed to view multiple items in the price information lines.
