Documentation Aptean Equipment DMS x Continia Document Capture
This app connects your Aptean Equipment DMS environment with Continia Document Capture in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. It makes the everyday processing of purchase invoices, credit memos, and warranty claims faster and more reliable by automating tasks that would otherwise require manual work.

In summary, Aptean Equipment DMS x Continia Document Capture helps you with the following::
- Automatically match vendor item numbers from scanned documents to the correct items in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
- See at a glance whether captured invoice amounts differ from your purchase order amounts.
- Navigate directly from a warranty claim to all related captured documents.
- Register delegated documents without opening each one individually.
- Keep track of pending approvals and delegated documents right in your role center.
A valid TRASER license is required. If no license is active, the app stays in the background and does not interfere with your standard Continia Document Capture workflow. Make sure your user account has the TSRDC Permissions permission set assigned. If you are unsure, ask your system administrator.
Background Automation
The following automations run in the background and require no user interaction:

| Responsibility Center | When a purchase document is created through Document Capture, the Responsibility Center is automatically set based on your setup, if it was not already filled. |
| Price Factor Transfer | When an invoice line is created from a purchase receipt, the TRASER Price Factor is carried over automatically. |
| Item Charge Allocation | When order lines of type Charge (Item) are pulled into an invoice, item charges are allocated automatically according to the rules you set up in your ERP solution. |
Approvals and Delegated Documents
The following sections describe how you can access activities and approvals in the role center as well as register delegated documents.
Your Activity Cues at a Glance
In the Role Center, you will see Continia Document Capture activity cues (tiles) and approvals. The app adds the following cues so you always know what requires your attention:

| Delegated to me | Number of open documents that have been delegated to you (including shared delegations). |
| Pending Approvals | Number of approval entries waiting for your decision. |
| Pending Shared Approvals | Number of approval entries shared with you by colleagues. |
Click on any cue to open the corresponding list of documents or approval entries.
Registering Delegated Documents
If you have been granted the Allowed to register permission, you can register delegated documents directly from the Delegated Documents List using the Register button. This is much faster than opening each document individually.
The button is available only when the document status is Open and your user has been granted the corresponding permission in the Continia User Setup.
