Menu Bar ★
Definition
Menu bars are an essential operating element in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and are used e.g. in the role center, on pages, in tables and windows as well as FastTabs and FactBoxes. A menu bar may include general (e.g. New or Delete) as well as context-specific (e.g. Post) actions and options.
Menu bars may consist of several submenus. The individual menu options contain the name of the action or option and/or a matching icon.
Navigation
In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, menu bars are used in several navigation elements to display possible actions and options. Below, please find a schematic example view of a menu bar containing the terminology used within Docs:
