Window*
Definition
A window is an additional page- or table-like pane which pops up above an existing page or table. It is used to specify/define in more detail information about the current process, start a wizard, or help users to finalize a task. In contrast to a dialog, it provides users with editable content and proper interaction.
Navigation
In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, windows are used for wizards as well as pop-ups to enter additional or see more specific information. Below, please find a schematic example view of a window containing the terminology used within Docs:
