Installation of Aptean Mobile Rental
Here you will find all important information regarding the installation of Aptean Mobile Rental. This chapter is divided into the following sections:
Downloading the App
Aptean Mobile Rental is available for download in the App Store for iOS and in the Play Store for Android. The app is available for Android devices starting from version 8.0 as well as iOS devices from version 13.0. Note that we cannot offer support for devices with hardware performance below the current market standard. We recommend regularly updating the operating system of your device as well as exchanging older devices if needed. Our tests are performed only on current devices with the most recent Android and iOS versions.
Installing the App
On-Premises
To use the app in an on-premises environment, your IT administrator must install the Aptean Mobile Rental extensions as well as the related dependencies via the extension manager. Afterward, provide us (support@traser-software.de) with the link to your system so we can store it in our proxy server. Once completed, all users can log in to the app and connect to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central database.
SaaS
For SaaS environments, your IT administrator must also install Aptean Mobile Rental as well as the related dependencies via the extension manager. Afterward your administrator can install the app on their mobile device. During the authentication process, they are asked in a Microsoft mask to globally allow access to the app. Once completed, all users can log in to the app and connect to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central database.
