Importing PRICAT Catalog Files

Note

This documentation is WIP. The final version will be released in January 2026. Feel free to use the documentation at your own risk.

Kramp is releasing new price files four times a year (usually the first day of a new quarter). Kramp sends out a CSV file which is automatically imported via a job queue, or dealers can manually download an XLSX file and import it manually.

Please find the corresponding instructions below:

Automatically Importing PRICAT Files

After successful PRICAT Integration setup, the Kramp price file is automatically uploaded to your Azure Blob Storage.

The job queue checks the Azure Blob Storage according to the schedule.

Tip

When a new price file is available, you should receive a notification from Kramp.

As soon as you received a notification, please proceed as follows to update the catalog items:

  • Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the Catalogs page.
  • Open your catalog used for KRAMP.
  • Check whether the No. of Buffered Catalog Import Records in the Schedule FastTab of the Kramp catalog card shows a value >0.
    • If not, the new price file was not yet imported by the job queue. Please check again the next day.
    • If yes, a new price file was imported. Please proceed.
  • Optional Check all mappings as described here and complete all missing mappings in the Mapping FastTab, if any.

Note

If there is a missing mapping, the catalog update will fail.

You successfully created and/or updated the related catalog items.

Manually Importing PRICAT Files

You have the possibility to manually import price lists directly provided by Kramp or downloaded from the My Account > Pricelist section (kramp.com/MyAccount/pricelist). Please proceed as follows to import the XLSX file:

  • Use the quick search (ALT+Q) to find the Catalogs page.
  • Open your catalog used for KRAMP.
  • Click on Excel > Import PRICAT Excel.
  • Proceed with step 2 from these instructions.
  • Optional Check all mappings as described here and complete all missing mappings in the Mapping FastTab, if any.

Note

If there is a missing mapping, the catalog update will fail.

You successfully imported a PRICAT XLSX file from Kramp and created and/or updated the related catalog items.
