Filter

This chapter describes how to create and apply filters in TRASER RentBoard 365. Filters facilitate searching for specific rent objects based on custom criteria. This chapter is divided into the following sections:

Creating Filters

To create a new filter, please proceed as follows:

  • Navigate to the action menu and click on Create Filter.
  • Click on Add Filter in the following window.
  • Enter a significant name for the filter.
  • To display further filter options, click in the filter box.
  • Click on Add Filter Attribute.
  • Select a Filter Attribute and the desired filter Filter Criterion according to the following table:

Note

The Filter Criterion field is displayed once you selected a Filter Attribute.

Filter Attribute Description
No. Filters by the service item number selected in the Filter Criterion field.
Serial No. Filters by the serial number selected in the Filter Criterion field.
Current Rent Location Filters by the current rent location selected in the Filter Criterion field.
Manufacturer Filters by the manufacturer selected in the Filter Criterion field.
Category Filters by the service item category selected in the Filter Criterion field.
Model Filters by the service item model selected in the Filter Criterion field.
Rent Status Code Filters by the rent status code selected in the Filter Criterion field, e.g., RENTABLE.
Object Category Code Filters by the rent object category selected in the Filter Criterion field.
Description Filters by the service item description selected in the Filter Criterion field.
Rented From Location Filters by the owner location selected in the Filter Criterion field.
  • Optional Add additional Filter Attributes and Filter Criterion as needed.
  • Click on Save to save the newly created filter.

You have successfully created a filter. Any number of filters can be created.

Applying Filters

To apply a filter, please proceed as follows:

  • Navigate to the action menu and click on Create Filter.
  • To apply the desired filter, click on the circle next to the filter name.

You have successfully applied a filter. The view in the app is automatically filtered based on the selected criteria. Only one filter can be active at a time. To reset the filtered view, click on Clear Filter in the filter overview.

Deleting Filters

Please proceed as follows to delete a filter:

  • Navigate to the action menu and click on Create Filter.
  • Click in the filter box of the filter you want to delete.
  • Click on Delete Filter to delete the selected filter.
  • Click on Save to save your changes.

Tip

If you only want to delete a filter criterion, click on the trashcan icon in the line of the relevant Filter Attribute, then click on Save.

You have successfully deleted a filter.
