Sending Inventory Data to STIHL

After completing the setup, your STIHL full inventory data from all locations is automatically compiled and submitted to STIHL in JSON files via the job queues.

The STIHL Inventory Transactions Buffer table, which can be opened via the STIHL Interface > Inventory Transactions Buffer button in the menu bar of the STIHL Interface Card page, shows the inventory changes as well as the status of the inventory data submission.

The STIHL Dealers Inventory table, which can be opened via the Log button in the menu bar of the STIHL Interface Card page, shows all transactions made by the interface.

  • When clicking on the STIHL Interface Log button in the menu bar, an additional session ID is displayed for submitted entries, which is needed to request the upload status from STIHL.
  • When clicking on the Archived Buffer Entries button in the menu bar, the archived buffer entries of successful uploads are displayed. Entries are automatically removed after the period specified in the CleanArchiveEntriesAfter parameter.

Tip

Inventory with a quantity of 0 is only sent to STIHL as long as defined in the ItemLastInventoryChangeWithinDays parameter. The maximum number of transactions sent per record upload is 1,000.
