GRANIT Pricelist

The GRANIT Pricelist Integration is used for importing GRANIT price files from the Azure blob storage.
After the successful installation and setup of the integration, GRANIT price files will be imported via the Job Queue in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Importing GRANIT Price Files

You can schedule the import of GRANIT price files, add templates for additional item costs and setup different filters for the import. For more information on importing catalogs, click here.

Note

GRANIT price files are always Partial Price Files.

To download a GRANIT catalog, please proceed as follows:

  • Use the quick search (ALT + Q) to find the page Catalogs in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • The page Catalogs is shown.
  • Click on the GRANIT Catalog.
  • The Catalog Card of the GRANIT catalog is shown.
  • Click on GRANIT > Download Catalog from GRANIT on the menu bar.

You have successfully downloaded a catalog from GRANIT.

Note

After a price file was imported, the heading “A new GRANIT price file has been imported.” is shown in the Role Center in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
By clicking on the heading you can open the Catalog Card of the GRANIT catalog as well.

Importing GRANIT Price Files automatically

You can use a job queue entry to automate and schedule the import of GRANIT price files. For example, you can setup the creation of items in the system or update their prices.
To do so, please proceed as follows:

  • Use the quick search (ALT + Q) to find the page Job Queue Entries in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • The page Job Queue Entries is shown.
  • Click on New in the menu bar.
  • The Job Queue Entry Card is shown.
  • Select the value CodeUnit in the Object Type to Run field of the General register.
  • Enter the ID of the object TSRGI Catalog Download Job in the Object ID to Run field.
  • You can specify in the Recurrence register if the job is a recurring job and on which days and at what time it should be run.
  • Click on Home > Set Status to 'Ready' in the menu bar.
  • Your entries will be saved automatically.

You have successfully created a job queue entry for the import of GRANIT price files.
