Additional Configuration
Definition
In the context of our ERP solution, additional configurations describe all attachments and components that have not been produced by the manufacturer of a service item. Examples include an excavator bucket (structural engineering) or front hydraulics (agricultural engineering) of a third-party manufacturer.
By default, additional configurations are not part of a service item configuration, but can be added to it. Specifying additional configurations is also relevant for configure price quotes and calculation worksheets. Furthermore, configurations of other vendors require separate purchase orders.
