Self-Billing
Definition
Self-billing is a special form of invoicing in which the recipient of a delivery or service is also the creator of the invoice. This process is also referred to as credit memo procedure, as self-billing is treated as a credit memo for the supplier or vendor.
In the context of TRASER DMS 365, self-billing is primarily used in warranty processing, if a creditor only accepts invoices instead of credit memos for approved warranty amounts.
