Responsibility Center
Definition
Responsibility centers in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central enable optimized, flexible management and processing of documents or protocols. For example, a responsibility center can refer to an office, a workshop or a (rental) location. Furthermore, responsibility centers can be linked to a specific business area, e.g. purchasing, sales, service, rental revenue or rental purchase.
Documents can be automatically filtered by responsibility centers or assigned to specific users. This means that users only work with documents or protocols that are relevant for their location or business area. This enables more efficient and transparent workflows, so that data from multiple locations can be managed with the same database.
