Agency Business Contract

Definition

In an agency business contract, a brokering agent acts in the name and on the account of a client and receives a commission. Agency business contracts are used primarily for selling used vehicles and machines. Unlike a proprietary business, the brokering agent is never the owner of the items.

You can process agency business in TRASER DMS 365 e.g. to sell a service item on behalf of a selling customer to a purchasing customer.

Important!

Please note that agency businesses are only permitted in Germany. The above description does not contain any information on applicable tax law. Should you have any questions, please contact your tax advisor or auditor.
