Service Interval
Definition
In the context of TRASER DMS 365, service intervals are used to deposit regular services at a servicea item. For example:
- Brake Test
- General Inspection
- Inspection
- Health and Safety Measures
- Warranty
A service interval can be set up either based on a specified time period or a service item counter value (e.g. operating hours). Once the due date or counter value is reached, a notification for the required service is displayed. Adherence to service intervals is important to avoid the loss of warranty due to material defects or a violation of maintenance requirements.
When setting up a service interval, a
standard service code can also be stored to make service processes even more efficient.
