Fix Prices

This chapter describes how you can provide one or more fix prices for a service order or for single service item lines (works for a machine). Fix prices are available for the following documents:

service quotes,
service orders,
service invoices,
service credit memos,
for lines of the documents mentioned above.

The contents of this chapter are divided into the following sections:

Use fix prices for documents,
Edit fixed prices,
Delete fixed prices.

Use fixed prices for documents

This section describes how to use a fix price for a document.
The fix price is applied to all of the document.
To use a fix price for a document, please do the following:

In this example, the use of a fix price is described using a service quote. The fix price function can also be used in other documents. The fix price function does not differ between the pages or documents.

Use the quick search in TRASER DMS 365 (Alt+Q) to find the page Service Quotes.
The page Service Quotes is displayed.
Create a new service quote or select an already existing service quote.
The page Service Quote is displayed.
- If there is no service item in the Lines register, add a new service item.
Mark the line that includes the service item.
Click in the Lines register on Line > Worksheet.
The page Worksheet is displayed. Under the register Lines you can specify the respective entries for the service item.
To use a fix price for the entries, select Actions > Fix Price from the menu bar.
The page Fix Price is displayed.

Fix Price

Enter a fix price. Confirm the changed value using the enter key.

Field	Description
Total Labour	If you change the value in this input field, a fix price will be used for labor (asset: (resource, labor enabled).
Total Parts	If you change the value in this input field, a fix price will be used for items (asset: items).
Total Resources	If you change the value in this input field, a fix price will be used for resources (asset: (resource, labor disabled).
Total Amount	If you change the value in this input field, a fix price will be used for the document.
Difference	This field shows the difference between the original amount and the fix price amount.

In the shown example, a fix price of 562,00€ was used in the input field Total Amount.

Note

If you enter a fix price in the Total Amount field, the difference between the original amount and the fix price will be deducted in equal parts from the existing total amounts.

To use the fix price, click OK.

Editing the fix price

This section describes how to edit a fix price.
Please do the following:

In the description below, a fix price is edited in a service quote. It is also possible to use or edit fix prices in a service order (e.g. in case of direct orders without a previous quote). The fix price function does not differ between the pages or documents.

Use the quick search in TRASER DMS 365 (ALT+Q) to find the page Service Quotes.
The page Service Quotes is displayed.
Select the service quote you want to adapt the fix price for.
The page Service Quote is displayed.
Mark the line that includes the service item for which you want to edit the fix price.
Click in the Lines register on Line > Worksheet.
The page Worksheet is displayed. Under the register Lines you can find the respective entries for the service item.
To edit the fix price for the entries, select Actions > Fix Price from the menu bar.
The page Fix Price is displayed.

Fix Price

Enter a fix price. Confirm the changed value using the enter key.
To confirm the edited fix price, click OK.

You have edited a fix price for the service item in the document.

Deleting fix prices

This section describes how to delete a fix price.
Please do the following:

In the description below, a fix price is deleted in a service quote. It is also possible to delete fix prices in a service order (e.g. in case of direct orders without a previous quote). The fix price function does not differ between the pages or documents.

Use the quick search in TRASER DMS 365 (ALT+Q) to find the page Service Quotes.
The page Service Quotes is displayed.
Select the service quote you want to delete the fix price for.
The page Service Quote is displayed.
Mark the line that includes the service item for which you want to delete the fix price.
Click in the Lines register on Line > Worksheet.
The page Worksheet is displayed. Under the register Lines you can find the respective entries for the service item.
For deleting all fix prices in this document, select Remove Fix Price from the menu bar in the window Fix Price.

Fix Price

The window Fix Price is closed and the used fix price has been deleted.
